To keep your leather pieces in excellent condition, regular care is essential. We recommend storing them in a dry, well-ventilated space – away from moisture and direct sunlight. Care Tips for Smooth Leather
1. Preparation & Protection
- Before wearing your shoes for the first time, apply a protective spray designed specifically for smooth leather. This helps shield the surface from water and dirt. Reapply the spray regularly, especially after cleaning.
2. Cleaning & Drying
- Dust can be gently removed using a soft brush or dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth – optionally with a mild soap solution.
- Let your leather shoes air dry naturally. Avoid placing them near direct heat or sunlight, as this can cause the leather to dry out or become damaged.
3. Conditioning & Ongoing Care
- To maintain suppleness, apply a quality leather cream regularly. Use a soft cloth to gently massage it into the leather. For a polished finish, buff the surface with a clean cloth after the cream has absorbed.
- We recommend repeating the full care routine – cleaning, conditioning, and protecting – on a regular basis to keep your leather looking its best.
Care Tips for Suede Leather
1. Preparation & Protection
- Before stepping out in your new suede shoes, treat them with a protective spray made specifically for suede. This will help guard against water and dirt. Spray evenly onto dry shoes and allow to fully absorb. Reapply regularly and/or after each cleaning.
2. Cleaning & Drying
- Use a suede brush or a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dust and dirt – always brushing in one direction.
- For light stains, a suede eraser or special cleaning block can help.
- Stubborn spots can be treated with a mix of suede cleaner and water. Apply gently with a soft cloth in circular motions, but avoid over-saturating the material.
- Let the shoes dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuff them with newspaper to retain shape and absorb excess moisture.
3. Reviving, Brushing & Regular Maintenance
- Once dry, use a clean suede brush to gently raise the nap and restore the signature softness.
- If the color has faded, a suede color refresher or conditioner can help revive the tone.
- To keep your suede in top condition, repeat the cleaning, care and protection steps regularly.
